I have several degrees in Business, Finance, Accounting, and PHD in the school of hard knocks. Even with all the experience and education, I still had to fight my way up the corporate ladder and through life with a divorce, motherhood, bankruptcy, even tangoed with death twice, the first time from a stroke, and 2nd time by my own hand. Coupled with bouts of anxiety and depression. After being in corporate America for so long, I realize that women are still undervalued, underpaid, not heard, and always having to fight for a seat at the table.
